Robert A. Heinlein was an American science fiction author, engineer, and naval officer. Sometimes called the "dean of science fiction writers", he was among the first to emphasize scientific accuracy in his fiction and was thus a pioneer of the subgenre of hard science fiction. His published works, both fiction and non-fiction, express admiration for competence and emphasize the value of critical thinking. His plots often presented provocative situations which challenged conventional social mores. His work continues to have an influence on the science fiction genre and on modern culture more generally.
The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress
The Heinlein book about an alternative human society on the Moon. In the future, some people were exiled to the Earth satellite, as rulers had done many years before, when they exiled people to Australia. In the 1966 book, we could also observe how an AI machine will work. Robert also writes a lot about how another society works, and why they decide to make a revolution or rebellion. In that novel, you could also find a strange style with a big mix of foreign words.
